Annoyed that they have to spend more quality time with their kids, parents everywhere are declaring that “summer is stupid.”
A quick twitter search for the keyword #stupidsummer brings up thousands of tweets from parents who wish their kids were back in school already. Here were a few of my favorites.
Katy Perry, the 27 year old American singer-songwriter best known for her 2008 pop hit “I Kissed a Girl” was recently photographed at a friend’s wedding with Elmo, the children’s entertainment star who owns the screen in such shows as Sesame Street and Elmo’s World.
Perry’s song never aired on Sesame Street after parents threw tizzy-fits about her choice of outfit. Tough critic love couldn’t stop real love from happening though, as this dynamic couple told me in a recent interview.
Katy and Elmo showed up together for the interview and were very candid about their relationship.
A new iPhone app will give parents the ability to lock their kids out of their phones for sending inappropriate texts or indecent pictures of themselves.
Tech blogs across the internet are having a heyday with the latest rumor that Apple is building a chastity app into the new iPhone, expected this fall.
A Canadian blogger received leaked documents for a new iPhone app which will detect sexual texts or pictures and will then lock the phone for whatever amount of time the parent decides. The documents clearly show that Apple intends to integrate it as a security feature on their next iPhone iOS release.
Actor Christian Bale was recently turned down by Disney after he pitched a sequel to the cult Disney classic that brought him fame in the early nineties.
“It’s a beautiful script I came up with,” Bale said. “It fixed some of the elements that the original movie left out.” Such elements apparently included, “not enough weapons, not enough swearing, and a lame immature kid who gave up his life dream so that he could keep hanging out with poor people.”
